Question About Magic Chef Clothes Dryer CYE2000AZW
The metal plate (with holes) placed just in front ...

The metal plate (with holes) placed just in front of the heating element is broken- meaning : cracked between the little holes and it's causin tears in my clothes. Help !!! Can I just change that metal plate ????

0 You can some 3M tape that is for heating/air ducts. Don't remember name, specifically, but it is silver colored. Got mine at small town hardware store. Put tape over vent, poke holes with pen or other like size object. Repeat layers of tape as needed. Works like a charm :) !
